Midcap index today, smallcap also increased

Public sector banks, IT stocks, metal fall

Public sector banks are looking at buying in IT, FMCG and auto shares. The Bank Nifty Index is trading 0.23% higher at 26,242.25 level. PSU Bank Index was 0.67%, Auto Index 0.32%, FMCG Index 0.34%, IT index 0.38%, Pharma Index 0.23% and Realty Index 0.10%. The metal index is trading with a decline of 0.18 percent.

Free Share Market Tips expert says during the turnover, Coal India, Powergrid, SBI, Wipro, Maruti, Kotak Bank, TCS, Tata Motors, ITC, ICICI Bank, Bajaj Auto, NTPC, L & T, Infosys were up 0.35-1.78 percent. However, Tata Steel, Adani Ports, HDFC, Yes Bank, Axis Bank, Dr Reddy's, Reliance Industries, ONGC fell by 2.26-0.21 per cent.

DII buyers, FII sold out

In Wednesday's business, Domestic Institutional Investors (DII) bought 229.06 crores in the domestic market. However, Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) sold shares worth Rs 699.22 crore.

The boom in the US markets

On Wednesday, the US market managed to close with the edge Dao Jones closed at a level of 24,769 with a jump of 63 points. Nasdaq climbed 47 points to end at 7,398 level. The S & P 500 index climbed 11 points to 2,722 levels.
