New rates for GST for 53 services and 29 items are being implemented from Thursday. It is clear that these things will be cheaper from today. With the revised rate applied, the prices of many items including old cars, diamonds will be reduced. The massive reduction in the GST rate will result in a revenue loss of around Rs 1000-1200 crore. These items will be 28 to 18 percent GST
- Used cars and used cars (Medium and Large cars and SUVs)

Where GST will grow

- Services to be given for admission or examination in all education institutes have been exempted from GST. He has also been exempted from the GST on entrance fees taken for the entrance examination.

Relief in these services
- Services under the RTI Act have been exempted from GST.
- GST rate has been reduced from 18 to 5% on tailoring services.
- Services such as Theme Park, Water Park, Joy Ride, Mary Go Round, Go Karting Ballet will now be 18% GST, which was earlier 28%.
- The exemption limit on services being given to RWA members has been increased from Rs 5000 to Rs 7500.
- Transportation services have been exempted from GST on sending goods through a plane outside India.
In the same way, the exemption was also granted to ship shipments. This rebate will last till September 30, 2018.
- GST has been reduced from 18% to 12% on Metro, Monorail Construction Projects.
-The GST's concessional rate will be applied to 12% of the building built for Mid Day Meal.
-The GST on Job Work Service, for manufacturing of Goodbye and Footwear, has been reduced to 5%.
Under the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme (PMAY) announced credit link subsidy scheme for EWS, LIG, MIG One and MIG Bhawan, there will be lower GST rates on the construction of the house.
